2. प्याज की फसल के बारे में लिखें, प्याज की क्या महत्ता है और इसको किस प्रकार प्रयोग में लाया जाता है ? इसकी मुख्य किस्में, बोने का तरीका तथा इसका किस प्रकार रख-रखाव किया जाता है ? 1, 1, 1, 1
Write concerning onion crops, its importance and how it is used ? Its main varieties, method of sowing, storage methods.
3. चने की फसल के बारे में बतायें कि हरियाणा में किन-किन क्षेत्रों में बोया जाता है, चने की मुख्य किस्में, बीज की मात्रा, यह किस समय उत्तर भारत में कब और कैसे बोया जाता है ? इसका क्षेत्रफल हर वर्ष क्यों घट रहा है ? 1, 1, 1, 1
Tell about gram crop, areas in Haryana where it is cultivated, its main varieties, seed rate when and how it is sown in north India. Why its area decreased over the years.
4. उन मुख्य कृषि यन्त्रों के नाम बताएँ जो बहाने, बीजने, फसल काटने तथा अनाज निकालने के काम आते हैं। 1, 1, 1, 1
Name the main implements and machines used for tillage, for sowing, harvesting and threshing.
5. नीचे दिये गये सात प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं छह प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक के तीन अंक हैं : 6 × 3 = 18
Do any six out of seven given below, each has three marks :
(i) शुष्क क्षेत्रों में बोने वाली अनाज की फसलों, फल तथा सब्जियों के नाम बताएँ।
Name the grain crops, fruits and vegetables grown in dry farming areas of Haryana.
(ii) हरियाणा में उन क्षेत्रों के नाम बताएँ जहाँ निकास नाली बनाना आवश्यक है और क्यों ?
What are areas where drains are needed in Haryana and why ?
(iii) हरियाणा में किसानों द्वारा प्रयोग होने वाले ट्रैक्टरों के नाम तथा उनको किन-किन कार्यों में प्रयोग में लाया जाता है ?
Name of tractors used by the Haryana farmers and their purpose of use.
(iv) मशरूम की खेती पर एक संक्षिप्त नोट लिखें।
Short note on Mushroom cultivation.
(v) सर्दियों में पैदा होने वाली सब्जियों के नाम लिखें। (कम से कम छह)
Name the vegetables grown in winter. (at least six)
(vi) सरसों की किस्मों के नाम बताएँ।
Write the varieties of mustard crop.
(vii) व्यावसायिक फसलों के नाम बताएँ। (कम से कम छह)

6. निम्नलिखित दस प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं नौ के उत्तर दें। प्रत्येक के दो अंक हैं : 9 × 2 = 18
Do any nine questions out of ten given below, each has two marks :
(i) शहतूत की खेती की क्या महत्ता है और यह किस प्रकार लाभदायक है ?
What is the use of mulberry farming and its uses ?
(ii) शुष्क क्षेत्रों में नमी का संरक्षण किन-किन तरीकों द्वारा किया जाता है ?
What are the methods of conserving moisture in dry farming areas ?
(iii) क्या नहरें निकास नाली का कार्य कर सकती हैं और कैसे ?
Can canals work as a drain and how ?
(iv) किसान द्वारा किस प्रकार के साधन, सामान लाने ले जाने के लिए, प्रयोग किए जाते हैं ?
Which are the transportation methods used by farmers ?
(v) अचार बनाने में काम आने वाली सब्जियों के नाम बताएँ।
Name the vegetables used for pickle making.
(vi) उन सब्जियों के नाम बताएँ जिनका रख-रखाव अच्छा है ?
Name the vegetables whose keeping quality are better.
(vii) हाथ से चलने वाले कृषि औजारों के नाम लिखें।
Name the hand tools.
(viii) जौ की किस्मों के नाम लिखें।
Name the varieties of barley.
(ix) ग्रीष्म ऋतु की सब्जियों के नाम लिखें।
Write the summer vegetables.
(x) चारे वाली फसलों के नाम लिखें।
Write the names of fodder crops.
7. नीचे दिए गए तेरह प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं बारह के उत्तर दें। प्रत्येक का एक अंक है, उत्तर सही या गलत में ही दें : 12 × 1 = 12
Do any twelve questions out of thirteen questions given below. Each carries one mark. Answer as 'right' or 'wrong':
(i) कर्नाटक रेशम के कीड़े की खेती के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
Karnataka is good for silk worm farming.
(ii) मध्य प्रदेश जैविक खेती के लिए जाना जाता है।
Madhya Pradesh is famous for organic farming.
(iii) पंजाब आलू की खेती के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।
Punjab in famous for potato cultivation.
(iv) बाजरा हरियाणा में नहीं उगाया जाता है।
Bajra is not grown in Haryana.
(v) दालें प्रोटीन का एक अच्छा स्रोत हैं।
Pulses are good source of protein.
(vi) टमाटर एक बहुत ज्यादा प्रयोग होने वाली सब्जी है।
Tomatoes are widely used vegetable.
(vii) गाजर एक जड़ वाली सब्जी नहीं है।
Carrot is not root vegetable.
(viii) दालें अधिकतर शुष्क क्षेत्रों में बोई जाती हैं।
Pulses are mostly grown in dry farming areas.
(ix) निकास नालियाँ ऊपर के क्षेत्रों में बनाई जाती हैं।
Drains are constructed on higher areas.
(x) आलू की बीजाई मशीन से की जा सकती है।
Potato can be sown by machine.
(xi) कल्टीवेटर खरपतवार को नियंत्रण करने के प्रयोग में नहीं लाया जा सकता है।
Cultivator cannot be used for weed control.
(xii) पंजाब तथा हरियाणा में बैलों से खेती अधिक की जाती है।
Bullocks are now more used in farming in Haryana and Punjab.
(xiii) मधुमक्खी पालन शुष्क क्षेत्रों में अधिक होता है।
Bee keeping is more successful in dry farming areas.
