1. कपास की खेती करने के बारे में लिखें, जिसमें उसकी मुख्य किस्में, बोने का तरीका, इसको किस प्रकार प्रॉसेस किया जाता है और कैसे इसको प्रयोग में लाया जाता है ? 1, 1, 1, 1
Write about cultivation of Cotton crop, its main varieties, method of sowing and how it is processed and consumed ?
2. प्याज की खेती के बारे में लिखें, उसकी किस्मों के नाम, बोने का तरीका भी बताएँ। इसमें कौन-कौन-सी बीमारियाँ तथा कीड़े आदि हानि पहुँचाते हैं और उनकी किस प्रकार रोकथाम की जाती है ?

Write about Onion cultivation giving its main varieties. What is its method of sowing ? Tell about main pests and diseases attack on it and how these can be controlled ?
3. भूमि संरक्षण क्या है ? इसके भिन्न-भिन्न तरीकों के नाम लिखें। भूमि संरक्षण किस प्रकार लाभदायक है ? 1, 1.5, 1.5
What is Soil Conservation ? Name the different methods of soil conservation. Which are benefits of soil conservation ?
4. खरपतवार नियन्त्रण के बारे में लिखें। इसकी क्यों आवश्यकता पड़ती है ? खरपतवार नियंत्रण के तरीकों के बारे में लिखें। प्रत्येक तरीके के बारे में कुछ लाइनें लिखें। 1, 1, 1, 1
Mention about Weed Control. Why it is needed and which are the different methods to control the weeds ? Write few lines on each method.
5. निम्नलिखित दिए गए सात प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं छ: के उत्तर दें। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के 3 अंक हैं : 3 × 6 = 18
(i) खाद्यान्न उत्पादन पर एक संक्षिप्त नोट लिखें।
(ii) लहसुन पर एक संक्षिप्त नोट लिखें और इसका किस प्रकार प्रयोग किया जाता है ?
(iii) निकास नालियों की क्यों आवश्यकता पड़ती है ? हरियाणा के किन्हीं तीन प्रचलित निकास नालियों के नाम बताएँ।
(iv) हरी खाद पर एक संक्षिप्त नोट लिखें।
(v) अचार बनाने के लिए प्रयोग में आने वाली सब्जियों के नाम बताएँ।
(vi) चावल की कटाई के बाद होने वाली गतिविधियों के बारे में लिखें।
(vii) नमक प्रस्त मिट्टियों के नाम बताएँ।
Do any six, out of following seven questions given below. Each question carries 3 marks :
(i) Write short note on Food Production.
(ii) Write short note on Garlic and how it is consumed ?
(iii) Why the drains are needed ? Name any three popular drains of Haryana.
(iv) Write a short note on Green Manures.
(v) Name the vegetables used for pickle making.
(vi) Tell about the post harvesting operations of Rice.
(vii) Name the salt affected soils.
6. निम्नलिखित दिए गए दस प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं नौ के उत्तर दें। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के 2 अंक हैं : 2 × 9 = 18
(i) हरियाणा में बंजर भूमि पर एक नोट लिखें।
(ii) उन फसलों के नाम बताएँ जिनकी पिछले कुछ वर्षों में उत्पादन में वृद्धि हुई है और क्यों ?
(iii) नहर द्वारा सिंचाई क्या है और इसको किस प्रकार प्रयोग किया जाता है ?
(iv) फूड प्रोसेसिंग पर एक संक्षिप्त नोट लिखें।
(v) जड़ वाली कम से कम छः सब्जियों के नाम बताएँ।
(vi) बाजरा पैदा करने वाले कम से कम चार राज्यों के नाम लिखिए।
Do any nine, out of following ten questions given below. Each questions carries 2 marks :
(i) Write a short note of Waste Land of Haryana.
(ii) Name the crops whose production increased during past few years and why ?
(iii) What is the Canal Irrigation and write its method of use ?
(iv) Write a short note on Food Processing.
(v) Name the root vegetables (at least six).

(vii) Name any four weeds.
(viii) Name the fruits which are grown in Haryana.
(ix) What is Soil Testing and why it is done ?
(x) Name any four fertilizer manufacturing units.
7. नीचे दिये गये तेरह प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं बारह के उत्तर दें। प्रत्येक प्रश्न का 1 अंक है। उत्तर सही या गलत में ही दें : 1 × 12 = 12
(i) भारत विश्व का एक बहुत अधिक अनाज पैदा करने वाला देश नहीं है।
(ii) राजस्थान तिलहन उगाने वाला एक मुख्य प्रांत है।
(iii) हाइड्रोपोनिक खेती में मिट्टी प्रयोग नहीं होती है।
(iv) फसल चक्र बदलने से खरपतवार पर कोई नियंत्रण नहीं होता।
(v) तेलंगाना तथा आंध्र प्रदेश आम पैदा करने वाले मुख्य राज्य हैं।
(vi) सब्जियों को पैदा करने के लिए प्रोटेक्टिव कल्टीवेशन या ग्रीन हाउस का प्रयोग नहीं होता है।
(vii) लवणीय भूमि को टीक नहीं किया जा सकता।
(viii) दोमट मिट्टी पानी के निकास के लिए अच्छी होती है।
(ix) नदियाँ पानी का निकास नहीं कर सकतीं।
(x) रबी फसलों में खरपतवार खरीफ फसलों के मुकाबले में अधिक होते हैं।
(xi) हरियाणा का बीच का क्षेत्र एक कटोरे की तरह है जहाँ पानी एकत्रित होता है।
(xii) भारतवर्ष में फलों की प्रोसेसिंग बहुत कम है।
(xiii) ऑर्गेनिक (बिना खाद व दवाईयों के) सब्जियाँ उगाना स्वास्थ्य के लिए अच्छा है।
Do any twelve out of following thirteen questions given below. Each question carries 1 mark. Answer as right or wrong :
(i) India is not one of the largest food grain producing country in the world.
(ii) Rajasthan is one main oil seed growing State.
(iii) Soil is not used in hydroponic cultivation.
(iv) Change in crop rotation cannot help in weed control.
(v) Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are also famous for mango cultivation.
(vi) Green house or protective cultivation is not used for vegetable cultivation.
(vii) Alkali soil cannot be reclaimed.
(viii) Clay soils are good drained soil.
(ix) Rivers cannot act as drain.
(x) Weeds are more in Rabi season as compared to Kharif.
(xi) Central Haryana is like a bowl where water is accumulated.
(xii) Fruit processing is very less in India.
(xiii) Organic way of cultivation of vegetables is good for health.
