In this section, do any three out of four questions given below, each has 4 marks.
1. फसल उत्पादन से आप क्या समझते हैं ? फसलों के वर्गीकरण के बारे में लिखिए और यह भी बताएँ कि फसलों का वर्गीकरण क्यों जरूरी है ?
What do you mean by crop production ? Explain crop classification, also explain why classification of crops is necessary ?
2. प्रशिक्षण और छँटाई के सिद्धांत और तरीके क्या हैं ?
What are the principles and methods of training and pruning ?
3. संक्षेप में लिखिए कि तिलहनी फसलों के समूह में कौन-कौन सी फसलें आती हैं ? इनमें से सरसों की फसल उन्नत किस्मों, बिजाई के समय के बारे में लिखिए एवं यह भी बताइए कि सरसों की फसल कम से कम कितनी सिंचाई में पक जाती है ?
Explain in brief which are the crops cover under oil seed group ? Out of these crops write about Mustard crop improved varieties, sowing time and minimum number of irrigation required to ripe Mustard crop.

(लघु उत्तरात्मक प्रश्न)

4. जल भराव, फसल बढ़ोतरी और मिट्टी को कैसे प्रभावित करता है ?
How does waterlogging effects the soil and crop growth ?
5. भारत में उगाई जाने वाली कम से कम छः दलहनी फसलों के नाम बताइए।
Name at least six Pulse crops grown in India.
6. हरियाणा में कम से कम छः शरद ऋतु में उगाई जाने वाली सब्जियों के नाम लिखिए।
Name at least six winter season vegetables grown in Haryana.
7. फसल उत्पादन में पानी की क्या महत्वता व भूमिका है ?
What is the importance and role of water in crop production ?
8. गन्ने की किन्हीं तीन-तीन (i) अगेती पकने वाली (ii) मध्यम पकने वाली (iii) पछेती पकने वाली उन्नत किस्मों के नाम लिखिए।
Write the name of any three each, improved varieties of sugar-cane (i) Early maturing (ii) Medium maturing and (iii) Late maturing.
9. भूमि परीक्षण की परिभाषा लिखिए। ये भी बताइए कि इसके क्या लाभ हैं ?
Define soil testing. Also explain what are the benefits of soil testing ?
10. पडलिंग (Puddling) व प्लाइंग (Ploughing) में क्या अन्तर है ?
What is difference between Puddling and Ploughing ?

(Objective Type Questions)
नोट : इस खण्ड में तेरह प्रश्न दिये गये हैं, इनमें से किन्हीं बारह के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक 1 अंक का है। उत्तर सही या गलत में ही देना है। 12 × 1 = 12
In this section, do any twelve out of thirteen questions given below, each is of 1 mark and answer has to be given as right or wrong.
21. भारत दुनिया में एक अधिक चावल पैदा करने वाला देश है।

22. हरियाणा में लवणीय मिट्टी का क्षेत्रफल काफी है।

23. यूरिया रासायनिक खाद में केवल नाइट्रोजन ही है।

24. गुजरात राज्य कपास उगाने में सबसे पीछे है।
