प्रश्न-पत्र दो भागों में विभाजित है : भाग-I (विषयनिष्ठ) एवं भाग-II (वस्तुनिष्ठ)। परीक्षार्थी को दोनों भागों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर को अपनी उत्तर पुस्तिका में लिखना है। प्रश्न-पत्र का भाग-I परीक्षा आरम्भ होने पर पहले उत्तर-पुस्तिका के साथ दिया जाएगा तथा भाग-II के लिए आखिरी का एक घंटे का समय दिया जाएगा अर्थात् परीक्षा समाप्त होने से एक घंटा पूर्व परीक्षार्थी को भाग-II का प्रश्न-पत्र दिया जाएगा।
भाग-I के प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 12 प्रश्न एवं भाग-II के प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 35 प्रश्न हैं।
Question paper is divided into two Parts : Part-I (Subjective type) and Part-II (Objective type). Answer the questions of both parts in your answer-book. Part-I of question paper with answer-book will be provided with starting of Examination and last one hour of Examination will be given for Part-II i.e. question paper of Part-II will be provided before one hour of the end of Examination.
Total questions in question paper of Part-I are 12 and of Part-II are 35.
• कृपया जाँच कर लें कि भाग-I के इस प्रश्न-पत्र में मुद्रित पृष्ठ 4 तथा प्रश्न 12 हैं।
Please make sure that the printed pages in this question paper of Part-I are 4 in number and it contains 12 questions.
• प्रश्न-पत्र में दाहिने हाथ की ओर दिये गये कोड नम्बर तथा सेट को छात्र उत्तर-पुस्तिका के मुख्य-पृष्ठ पर लिखें
The Code No. and Set on the right side of the question paper should be written by the candidate on the front page of the answer-book.
• कृपया प्रश्न का उत्तर लिखना शुरू करने से पहले, प्रश्न का क्रमांक अवश्य लिखें
Before beginning to answer a question, its Serial Number must be written.
• उत्तर-पुस्तिका के बीच में खाली पन्ना/ पन्ने न छोड़ें।
Don’t leave blank page/pages in your answer-book.
• उत्तर-पुस्तिका के अतिरिक्त कोई अन्य शीट नहीं मिलेगी। अतः आवश्यकतानुसार ही लिखें और लिखा उत्तर न काटें।
Except answer-book, no extra sheet will be given. Write to the point and do not strike the written answer.
• परीक्षार्थी अपना रोल नं० प्रश्न-पत्र पर अवश्य लिखें।
Candidates must write their Roll Number on the question paper.
• कृपया प्रश्नों का उत्तर देने से पूर्व यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि प्रश्न-पत्र पूर्ण व सही है, परीक्षा के उपरान्त इस सम्बन्ध में कोई भी दावा स्वीकार नहीं किया जायेगा।

सामान्य निर्देश :
General Instructions :
(i) सभी प्रश्न अनिवार्य हैं।
All questions are compulsory.
(ii) प्रत्येक प्रश्न के अंक उसके सामने दर्शाये गए हैं।
Marks of each question are indicated against it.
(iii) प्रश्न संख्या 1 से 5 तक अतिलघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न हैं तथा प्रत्येक प्रश्न 2 अंकों का है।
Question Numbers 1 to 5 are very short answer type questions and carry 2 marks each.
(iv) प्रश्न संख्या 6 से 10 तक लघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न हैं तथा प्रत्येक प्रश्न 3 अंकों का है।
Question Numbers 6 to 10 are short answer type questions and carry 3 marks each.
(v) प्रश्न संख्या 11 एवं 12 दीर्घ उत्तरीय प्रश्न हैं तथा प्रत्येक प्रश्न 5 अंकों का है।
Question Numbers 11 & 12 are long answer type questions and carry 5 marks each.
(vi) प्रश्न-पत्र में समग्र रूप से कोई विकल्प नहीं है। तथापि 5 अंकों वाले दोनों प्रश्नों में आन्तरिक चयन प्रदान किया गया है। ऐसे प्रश्नों में से आपको दिए गए चयन में से केवल एक ही प्रश्न करना है।
There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in both questions of 5 marks. You have to attempt only one of the given choices in such questions.

(Very Short Answer Type Questions)
1. प्रकाश-विद्युत प्रभाव क्या है ? प्रकाश-विद्युत प्रभाव में प्रकाश की आवृत्ति तथा निरोधी विभव में ग्राफ बनाइए। 2
What is photoelectric effect ? Draw a graph between the frequency of incident light and stopping potential in photoelectric effect.
2. कोई टैंक 15 सेमी ऊँचाई तक जल से भरा है। किसी सूक्ष्मदर्शी द्वारा बीकर की तली पर पड़ी किसी सुई की आभासी गहराई 10 सेमी मापी जाती है। जल का अपवर्तनांक क्या है ? 2
A tank is filled with water to a height of 15 cm. The apparent depth of a needle lying at the bottom of the tank is measured by a microscope to be 10 cm. What is refractive index of water ?
3. विद्युत चुम्बकीय तरंगों के कोई दो गुण लिखें। 2
Write any two characteristics of Electromagnetic Waves.
4. एक LCR परिपथ, जिसमें L = 5.0 H, C = 80 µF तथा R = 40 Ω, अनुनाद आवृत्ति ω₀ का परिकलन कीजिए। 2
Obtain the resonant frequency ω₀ of a series LCR circuit with L = 5.0 H, C = 80 µF and R = 40 Ω.
5. किसी संधारित्र की धारिता की परिभाषा लिखिए। 2
Define capacitance of a Capacitor.
6. P-N संधि डायोड का उपयोग करके पूर्ण तरंग दिष्टकारी परिपथ का चित्र बनाइए। निवेशी तथा निर्गत वोल्टताओं के तरंग रूप दिखाइए। 3
Draw a circuit diagram of a Full Wave Rectifier using a P-N junction diode. Show waveforms of input and output voltages.
7. हाइड्रोजन परमाणु के लिए बोहर की अभिधारणाएँ लिखिए। 3
Write Bohr's postulates for hydrogen atom.
8. वैद्युत परिपथ के लिए व्हीटस्टोन सेतु के नियम का आवश्यक परिपथ चित्र देते हुए उल्लेख कीजिए। 3
State Wheatstone bridge principle for electrical circuits giving necessary circuit diagram.
9. वैद्युत स्थैतिकी में गाउस के नियम को लिखिए व सिद्ध कीजिए। 3
State and prove Gauss's Law in Electrostatics.
10. प्रत्यावर्ती धारा जनित्र का नामांकित चित्र बनाइए तथा इसका सिद्धांत लिखिए। 3
Draw labelled diagram of A.C. generator and write its principle.
11. तरंगाग्र किसे कहते हैं ? हाइगेंस के सिद्धांत का उपयोग करके अपवर्तन के नियमों का सत्यापन कीजिए। 5

Draw a labelled ray diagram showing image formation in an astronomical telescope. Derive expression for its magnifying power.
12. त्रिज्या R के किसी वृत्ताकार पाश से धारा I प्रवाहित हो रही है। इस पाश के केन्द्र से इसके अक्ष पर स्थित X दूरी के किसी बिंदु पर चुम्बकीय क्षेत्र के लिए व्यंजक प्राप्त कीजिए।
A circular loop of radius R carries a current I. Obtain an expression for the magnetic field at a point on its axis at a distance X from its centre.
अथवा
OR
दो लंबे सीधे समांतर चालकों के बीच लगने वाले बल के लिए व्यंजक निकालिए जिनमें विद्युत धारा एक ही दिशा में बह रही हो। अतः एक ऐम्पियर को परिभाषित कीजिए।
Derive an expression for the force between two long straight parallel conductors carrying current in same direction. Hence define one ampere.
