नोट : इस खण्ड में चार प्रश्न दिये गये हैं, इनमें से कोई तीन के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक के 4 अंक हैं।
In this section, do any three out of four questions given below, each has 4 marks.

1. भारत में खाद्य उत्पादन की क्या महत्ता है ? गेहूँ एक महत्त्वपूर्ण फसल है, यह भारत में अधिकतम कहाँ पर उगाई जाती है ? इसकी मुख्यतः किस्मों के नाम बताइए।
What is the importance of food grain production in India ? Wheat being a important crop, where it is grown mainly in India ? Name its main varieties.
2. कौन-सी मुख्य खादें किसान द्वारा प्रयोग की जाती है ? खादों में पोषक-तत्त्वों की प्रतिशतता भी बताइए। इनको किस प्रकार प्रयोग किया जाता है ? क्या खादों का दुष्प्रभाव भी पड़ता है ?
Which are the main fertilizers used by farmers and tell with their percentage of nutrients ? How fertilizer is used ? Is there any harmful affects of fertilizer use ?
3. आलू की फसल के बारे में बताइए। इसकी मुख्य किस्मों के नाम लिखिए। इसको किस प्रकार बोया तथा खेत से पकने के बाद निकाला जाता है ?
Tell about Potato crop. Name its main varieties. What is its method of sowing and harvesting ?
4. खरपतवार नियंत्रण क्यों आवश्यक है ? खरपतवार के नियंत्रण के तरीकों के बारे में बताते हुए, प्रत्येक का विवरण दीजिए।
Why weed control is necessary ? Which are the methods of weed control and write about each method ?
नोट : इस खण्ड में सात प्रश्न दिये गये हैं इनमें से किन्हीं छः के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक के 3 अंक हैं।

5. सिंचाई के तरीकों के बारे में बताइए जो किसानों द्वारा अपनाये जाते हैं। कौन-सा तरीका सबसे अच्छा है और क्यों ?
Name the methods of irrigation adopted by the farmers. Which one is better and why ?
6. भारत के कम से कम छः व्यावसायिक फसलों के नाम बताइए।
Name the main Commercial Crops of India (at least six).
7. हरियाणा में पैदा होने वाले कम से कम छः फलों के नाम बताइए।
Name the main fruits grown in Haryana (at least six).
8. नहर की प्रणाली किस प्रकार कार्य करती है ?
How does the canal system works ?
9. कपास की किस्मों के नाम बताइए।
Write the varieties of Cotton.
10. चावल निकालने के कारखाने पर एक नोट लिखिए।
Write a note on Rice Sheller.
11. फसल ढकना (मल्च) क्या है और इसके क्या लाभ हैं ?

नोट : इस खण्ड में तेरह प्रश्न दिये गये हैं, इनमें से किन्हीं बारह के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक 1 अंक का है। उत्तर गलत या सही में ही देना है।
In this section, do any twelve out of thirteen questions given below, each has 1 mark and answer is given as right or wrong.

22. भारत दुनिया में एक अधिक खाद्यान्न पैदा करने वाला देश है।
India is one of the most food grains producers in the world.
23. हरियाणा में पानी निकासी की कोई कठिनाई नहीं है।
There is no problem of drainage in Haryana.
24. डाई अमोनियम फॉस्फेट (डी ए पी) में केवल फॉस्फोरस ही है।
Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) only contains Phosphorus.
25. गुजरात एक मूँगफली पैदा करने वाला राज्य है।
Gujarat is one of the producer of Groundnut.
26. धान केवल सारे भारत में एक वर्ष में एक बार ही बोया जाता है।
Paddy is sown only once in a year all over India.
27. हरियाणा के किसी भी भाग में जल भराव की समस्या नहीं है।
There is no water logging problem in Haryana.
28. भारत में फल अधिक मात्रा में प्रोसेस नहीं किये जाते हैं।

29. टपका सिंचाई फलदार पौधों के लिये अधिक उपयोगी है।
