नोट : (i) इस प्रश्न-पत्र में कुल 31 प्रश्न हैं जो चार खण्डों : ‘अ’, ‘ब’, ‘स’ एवं ‘द’ में विभक्त हैं। This question paper consists of 31 questions in all, which divided into four Sections : 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'D'. खण्ड - अ SECTION - A (निबन्धात्मक प्रश्न) (Essay Type Questions)
नोट : इस खण्ड में चार प्रश्न दिए गए हैं, इनमें से किन्हीं तीन के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक के 5 अंक हैं। 3 × 5 = 15 In this Section, do any three out of four questions given below, each has 5 marks.
1. हरियाणा में उगने वाली मुख्य तिलहन (तेल बीज) फसलों के नाम लिखिए। सरसों (Mustard) की फसल के बारे में संक्षिप्त परिचय दीजिए, इसकी मुख्य किस्में, बुवाई एवं कटाई का समय और उपयोग बताते हुए।
Name the main oil seed crops grown in Haryana. Write in brief about Mustard crop, giving its main varieties, time of sowing and harvesting and its uses.
2. हरियाणा में उगने वाली मुख्य जड़ वाली सब्जियों (root vegetables) के नाम लिखिए। आलू (Potato) की खेती के बारे में बताइए, इसकी मुख्य किस्में, बुवाई की विधि और कटाई के बारे में बताते हुए। Write the names of root vegetables grown in Haryana. Write about potato cultivation, mention the main varieties, method of sowing and harvesting.
3. फल बागानों की खेती लोकप्रिय क्यों नहीं हो रही है ? खाद्य प्रसंस्करण (Food Processing) क्या है और किन फलों का इसमें उपयोग होता है ?
Why fruit gardens cultivation is not becoming popular ? What is food processing and which fruits are being used for this ?
4. नलकूप (Tube well) सिंचाई क्या है और यह कैसे काम करती है ? हरियाणा के कुछ जिलों में भूमिगत जल स्तर नीचे क्यों जा रहा है ?
What is tube well irrigation and how it works why ? Water table is falling in few districts of Haryana ?
खण्ड - ब SECTION - B (लघु उत्तरात्मक प्रश्न) (Short Answer Type Questions)
नोट : इस खण्ड में छः प्रश्न दिये गये हैं, दो प्रश्नों में आन्तरिक विकल्प दिया है। सभी छः प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक के 3 अंक हैं। 6 × 3 = 18
In this section, there are six questions given below, in two questions internal choice is given. Answer all six questions, each has 3 marks.
5. कौन-सा फल “फल राजा” (Fruit King) कहा जाता है ? कम-से-कम छः किसमों के नाम लिखिए और वह कैसे खाया/उपयोग किया जाता है ?
Which one is called fruit king among fruits ? Name at least its six varieties and how it is consumed ?
6. मुख्य चारे की (Fodder) फसलों के नाम लिखिए और अन्य वे फसलें बताइए जिनके अवशेष (by- product) से चारा प्राप्त होता है। Name the main fodder crops and also write other crops from where fodder is available as by-product.
7. मूली (Radish) पर एक संक्षिप्त टिप्पणी लिखिए। Write a short note on Radish.

गाजर (Carrot) पर एक संक्षिप्त टिप्पणी लिखिए। Write a short note on Carrot.
8. आठ फूलों के नाम लिखिए। फूल उगाने के उपयोग क्या हैं ? Name any eight flowers. What are the uses of growing flowers ?
9. मृदा परीक्षण (Soil Testing) क्या है और इसके उपयोग क्या हैं ? What is soil testing and what are its uses ?
अथवा OR
मृदा अपरदन (Soil Erosion) क्या है और इसके नुकसान क्या हैं ? What is soil erosion and what are its disadvantages ?
10. खरपतवार नियंत्रण (Weed Control) की विधियाँ लिखिए और खरपतवार हानिकारक क्यों होते हैं ? Write down the methods of weed control and why weeds are harmful ?
खण्ड - स SECTION - C (अतिलघु उत्तरात्मक प्रश्न) (Very Short Answer Type Questions)
नोट : इस खण्ड में छः प्रश्न दिये गये हैं, दो प्रश्नों में आन्तरिक विकल्प दिया है। सभी छः प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक के 2 अंक हैं। 6 × 2 = 12 In this section, there are six questions given below, internal choice in two questions is given. Answer all six questions, each has 2 marks.

15. Creepers क्या होते हैं ? What are the creepers ?

खण्ड - द SECTION-D (वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रश्न) (Objective Type Questions)
नोट : इस खण्ड में छः बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न, तीन-तीन प्रश्न रिक्त स्थान भरे, एक शब्द में उत्तर वाले तथा कारण बतायें वाले हैं। सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक का 1 अंक है। 15 × 1 = 15
